The MG30CFX comes with four programmable channels with specified voiced effects and foot-switching abilities. The four channels which include Crunch, Clean, OD1 and OD2 are easily adjusted and stored so that the device can easily memorize your settings so that you do not need to start setting it everything you switch it on. You can store each channel’s setting in isolation of the others, which allows for easy optimization, and you can switch from one setting to the other by simply pushing the ‘push’ button on the device.
When in manual mode, these four channels work like an ordinary amp, it is when the MGCFX30 is on preset mode the channel settings can easily be stored and recalled when they are required.
While the MG15CF series, that is MG15CF and MG15CFR which all use 15 watts come with only a clean and dirt channel, and the CFR versions have built-in reverb, the CFX models which include MG30CFX have the digital reverb and other built in effects.
By now, it is pretty obvious that the MG30CFX features both preset and manual mode, which is quite impressive. While in preset mode, settings of all controls can easily be stored, except the general volume, so that you can re-use them whenever you need to, in manual mode, the settings cannot be recalled for later use, they can be modified or adjusted in real-time.

The device comes with a very sturdy shape and even though the knobs are made of plastic, it is easy to see that they are designed to be reliable. It is has a carbon fiber casing that further enforces its durable feature.
The device makes it adaptable to a foot control. Although the foot control does not come with the packaging, it would be a good investment as you have the option to switch between tones so that you do not mess with your settings. Foot pedals are easily available.
The Tap button allows you to set the delay speed easily so that you can easily set the tempo. This is manual TAP and is very beneficial for you, especially for professional use.
The Clean channel produces clean sounds that only break up when it is at a very high volume. By controlling the EQ effectively, it is easy to find out that the sound is suitable for any style of music.
